U14s at Home to Rochdale

As we almost finish the first round of fixtures, we welcome Rochdale for this U14 clash.  With a full compliment of 15 players, and 10 from Rochdale, we managed to get  a good game on.  As has been the case in recent weeks, we managed to get good early possession, but were wasteful in front of goal, and found the first 3 shots no where near the goal.  We did manage to get a couple on target in Q1, and finished the quarter 2-0. 
For the first time this year, we had the full compliment of 4 long poles, and were trying out best to get the poles into positioning dependant on attack or defence, and found the concept difficult at times but for a first effort the work was good.
Q2 was a strong quarter with good passing, and better finishing we man aged a 5-1 quarter.
Q3, 4-1 to Stockport and Q4, 2-0 to Stockport, with a guest appearance from Hugo for Rochdale.
Overall a 13-2 victory, and on to a home fixture next week against the combined team of Cheadle/Sheffield.
