It was Toms Birthday, so after sing song and a slice of cake each...

The Heaton Mersey game which we lost 8.3 Heaton Mersey are a good team but Stockport seemed to have lost their edge they had in the first two games.
Goal Scorers Henry and Jacob 2

The Timperley game which again we lost 8. 1 With our only goal scorer Tom Smith.
Stockport were out played and out run by the larger Timperley players running straight through to goal, a game where we struggled to even gain possession.

                                                            We got him eventually.

First Ever U14 Box Lacrosse Tournament

We had the pleasure of participating in the first ever junior U14 box lacrosse tournament, up at Disley Amalgamated Sports Club, and we were joined by Heaton Mersey, Timperley, Norbury, Mellor and Cheadle/Sheffield.  After a brief introduction to the rules (or lack of them) we got on with playing a different version of the game we all enjoy.
Played Mersey and Timperley first, followed by a semi-final against Mellor and played pretty well throughout, until the final where it just didn't happen, and we got beat by a strong Cheadle/Sheffield performance.
A long and enjoyable day, and we were looked after by #northernboxlacrosse and Andy Downing impeccably.  Thank you to all who attended, and organised the day.
A few photos taken.
