U12s Stockport vs Boardman and Eccles

U12s Stockport vs Boardman and Eccles.

Straight onto the ‘big’ pitch this morning, as the rain just about held off, with Boardman and Eccles wanting to make the pitch smaller, although it`s actually the same size as our Junor pitch, according to our pitch expert Barry Livesey.
However Boardman and Eccles insisted on making it slightly smaller.
A few players down this week, but Stockport still with 13 players.
Once we had shortened the pitch sightly, it was straight into the face off and Stockport started well in the first quarter by scoring 3 consecutive goals, fairly quickly by Jacob B, but Boardman and Eccles managed to pull 3 back before the end of the Q1. finishing 3 all.

Q2. Boardman and Eccles played well with a couple of feisty girls again but Stockport got stuck in, fighting hard and chasing the ball down this week and contending the ground balls well. Working hard to score another 2 Goals by Ethan and another one for Jacob B making it 6.3 to Stockport.

Q3. A careless own goal by Stockport with some confusion in defence saw Boardman and Eccles get one back in this quarter but again Stockport ploughed on with another from Jacob B and Ethan who was having a really good game despite being slashed on occasions.

Q4. Saw Fin Morris get another goal, after opening his account last week, as well as another also for Ethan, all players worked hard and contributed well, finishing the game !0. 6 to stockport

Full time score Stockport 10 Boardman and Eccles 6

                                                        Thurston and George defending.

Taking a minute and a half, ....and a half?, demonstrating the injustice.

                                                               Thurston on the attack!

                                                                              Shot!

                                                                       Leo`s Ball...

Barry Livesey, happy with the score.
