WIN STOCKPORT !

Although the game was better than the score suggests.......

Take that ! - Defence effective from the start - Luca stands him up (down) with Luke ready to catch the thrown away ball, and Ben covering any loose ball..

Cameron forces a throw away......

CHECK by Marley- I think he felt that !!

Game of marbles anyone.....

DOUBLE CHECK - by Luca and Marley, lucky his mate was there to catch the loose ball.......

Todays captain clearing the ball as James watches on  ............his eyesight must be good watching the game from that distance every week !!

M & M sandwich -  Matthew and Marley !!

Matthew accelerates away......

Not sure what is going on here, seemingly two games going on...

Lights, camera, action...........James clears the ball

Dan doing that Hakka thing again........

Me thinks this will be a push in the back ......ref!

Whooosh ........there goes Matthew again.

My legs might not be able to keep up but I'll get him with my stick....get in Rhys !

Luca practising his football skills... whatever works.

Luke on the move.......

Assault on Dan from behind, too little too late...

How fast is that stick moving !! luckily for someone the balls spilled out........

Marley off again....

..................and again.

Ah Matthias is here........

Finally, after all that zooming around, Matthew comes skidding to  a stop......

Luke about to get a pat/smack on the back for a perfect ground ball pick up...

Goalie and defence men all in calm control on the crease

Defence clearing the loose ball.

Ooops Luke, you've left your stick in that boys face !!

Now then, this young man remains nameless: it makes it so much easier (for me) if you face the camera with your number clearly visible.

No matter good effort buddy........

Aaron gives chase, no matter how tall, how old, how big..

I think he's going to get there first Aaron, but only just.

How much time left please ref ??

Now for a Luke quadrology (if that's what they call it).

Don't mess, just get rid.....

Time Out ..............

You don't really want to shoot that ball, Luke eyeballs the opposition.... Ben and Marley wait for the loose ball.

Luke in hot pursuit..........

And now for the STATs..........

Stockport vs Timperley 'B'

14 : 1

WIN Stockport !

Belated pictures from the game that gave all our lads some time on pitch to show their skills.

Defenders got him covered

Matius - have we seen that move before !!
(trademark)

Better get rid - Hugo incoming !

Marley getting away.

You better give it up - we've got you covered.

3 on one, come on then - I'll bite your ankles....

Just in front of Aaron that's our Marley winding up for a shot and GOAL !!!

Defence setting off upfield, go Long Pole Luca.....

Don't forget your playing shirt or you don't get a mention !! Come in number 20 - good job stay in front of your man....

Cameron winding up for a shot,,,,GOAL !

Legs Marley Legs....

Aaron launches one to clear ...

Spot the ball ?  Answers on a post card please.

Those legs look like they are revolving on his hips - nice move Rhys.....

20 on the face off...

Explosive start out of the blocks but he's off without the ball......

That 'll be our ball thank you.

Now then Ben, me thinks that will be a head check....

If i just run around you, then I can pass to my mate Rhys.

   Will looking for the pass....

He'll be straight between his legs - Aaron giving chase...

Defence not having much to do today but Luke takes the play upfield .

and then Dan stretched his legs whilst James looks on.......

Marley and Rhys play piggy in he middle....

Pincer movement, Aaron in for the check !

Defying gravity as Rhys takes a good ole push, more like a take out !

I don't think Cameron is going to let him past without a hernia.
