U14s at Home to Cheadle/Cheadle Hulme (again)

We had a break from the cup round robin games this weekend, and we welcomed the merged Cheadle/Cheadle Hulme team again, giving us the opportunity to get lots of game time for our newer players to build their confidence and as the day went one, get them on the scoresheet.
With little action in our defensive half of the game, the D concentrated and worked on discipline.  Clearing up everything which was required of them, with some good clearing turning defence into attack  and showing what we can do in this half of the pitch.
At the other end, it wasn't all plain sailing, and our wastefulness in front of goal continued this week, with another dominant display creating 36 shots, 24on target and 12 goals.
Q1, 3-0 up, with goals from Rhys, Joel and Luca, Q2 a 4-0 quarter with goals from Jacob, Findlay, and Isaac using his strength to get 2.  Q3, we slowed up a little, with just the one from Rhys and then we finished with 4 in the final quarter from Isaac, Luca, Ted, and George.  Only 5 of the 12 assisted, 2 from Joel,2 from Luca and 1 from Jacob.
Much bigger challenges ahead, bit pleased with the mornings work, with everyone improving.
