U14s Away at Timperley

What a great season this is turning out to be.  Only half way through and we have managed more games already this season than we did in the whole of the last season, and the league is incredibly competitive with some excellent teams and some excellent lacrosse being played by a good number of teams.
Anyway on to the game, and we started exceptionally well, racing to a 0-6 lead at the end of Q1  by moving the ball well, (and for once this season) finishing a greater percentage of our shots than in previous weeks.  Q2 was a little more subdued but we still managed to get 1 more goal without reply leaving us 0-7 up at half time.  We weren't dominating on face today, with honours even, which made the scoreline even more respectable at this stage.
Q3 started with a quick goal, and uncharacteristically a few mistakes and Timperley managed to get 3 back before the end of Q3.  Q4 was a 2-3 quarter leaving ourselves 5-11 up on the day.
A great start to 2019, lets hope is a good one!
