The good games are coming thick and fast at the moment, as we welcomed another good team to Cale Green. The 2nd time this season we have faced them, and the game finished (probably deservedly) all square at 7-7.
In games this close its important to get out in front, and that's exactly what our visitors did this morning, with uncharacteristic mistakes by Stockport leading to Norbury getting 2 in advance before the end of Q1.
Q2 and Norbury got another 1 before Cameron pulled one back, giving us an even quarter a 1-1. Q3 was far more entertaining, with both teams getting 3-a-piece, leaving us trailing going into Q4 by 2.
Q4 started, and we knew we had a bit to do, we pulled a couple back, Norbury got another 1 before the final goal of the day. A couple of chances at the death for both teams, left it all square on the day.
Scorers today, Cameron (4), Will H, George and Hugo and 5 assists. A staggering 22 shots, but only 7 went in.
