What a super game to start 2015 off. Unfortunately, we were on the wrong end of a 7-10 defeat against Cheadle Hulme U12's. Albeit, the game was extremely close throughout, played well between two teams intent on trying to play good lacrosse. At the end of Q1, the scores were close at 1-2, but Q2 belonged to Stockport, bringing the scores back to 5-4. We couldn't sustain the pressure and Q3 Cheadle Hulme placed 3 unanswered goals against us, for the final quarter to be relatively even with a final score of 7-10. Well done to all the players, but particularly well done to our keeper who made 12 terrific saves keeping us in the game. Until next week, when the two teams do it all again in the reverse fixture.
