It couldn't have been much closer - even running to extra time, but after a well-played game we came away with silver medals. Scoring the first goal, Stockport were ahead all the way through - until the final 30 seconds of full time! When, continuing to attack (not knowing how long was left on the (broken) clock) we lost possession, letting Poyton even the score in the dying seconds of the game. With 4 minutes each way of extra time, Poynton were first to score until Danny equalised, keeping our hopes alive. Scoring the final goal of the match though, Poynton came away with the Cup and the gold medals.
